We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, the true basis for Christian conduct, and the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:21)

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19) We believe that Adam was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God and that as a result, all human beings are now born with a sinful nature.(Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:1; Romans 5:12, 15-19)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true sinless man.(Luke 1:35; 1 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that salvation is the unmerited gift of God through grace.

We believe that Christ voluntarily died for us on the cross, atoning for the sins of those who believe in and accept Him as Saviour and Lord, and that justification is by faith alone.(Romans 3:24-25; Acts 13:39)

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of the Lord, and His ascension to the right hand of the throne of God.(Luke 24:6, 51)

We believe in and await the personal return of our Lord Jesus Christ.(Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit, and thereby become the children of God.(John 1:12-13; John 3:3)

We believe that all who are born again of God’s Spirit are baptized into the body of Christ at the moment of saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that this one baptism is followed by infillings of the Holy Spirit.

We believe therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.(Ephesians 5:18; Romans 5:1; Galatians 2:16)

We believe in the resurrection of the just and the unjust, and in the eternal blessedness of the redeemed and eternal punishment of the unjust.(1 Thessalonians 4:17; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; John 5:28-29; Acts 17:31)

We believe those who have claimed membership in the Church through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ will seek to follow Him, study His word, the Bible, and grow in maturity as Christians.(Matthew 5; Romans 12:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:14-16)

We believe in the Biblical definition of marriage as the joining of one man and one woman in a permanent relationship before God.(Genesis 2:24; 1 Corinthians 7:2B)

We believe in the spiritual obligation to give gladly of our time, talents, tithes and offerings to the Lord.(1 Corinthians 16:2)

We Believe...
